Location

Casa Rosa is located just outside a village called Periana. Our Concierge will take you, or give you directions to the house once you arrive in Periana.

Directions from Malaga to Periana

The journey from Malaga Airport to Casa Rosa takes about an hour. We recommend you stop off on the way at the hypermarket Eroski - in the shopping mall El Ingenio, Torre Del Mar, which is visible from the A7/A356 large roundabout where you turn away from the coast up towards Velez Malaga. You can pick up all the supplies you need here for your first couple of days, or use our pre-arrival shopping delivery.

As you leave the airport, pass the San Miguel brewery on the right, stay in the left hand lane and follow signs for Malaga, taking the bridge which joins the dual carriageway towards central Malaga. Soon you should follow signs to Almeria and Motril leading you to the A7 motorway. The A7 splits, stay in the left hand lane to Almeria and Motril (ie not Granada).

After 47kms (half an hour), you reach junction 272 for Torre del Mar, Velez Malaga and Vinuela. Take this exit and keep left off the roundabout following signs for Velez Malaga, Colmenar and Vinuela (A356). Follow the A356 for 14 kms (15 mins) and start to look out carefully for the right turn marked Periana, Vinuela and Alhama. If you reach a bridge with the reservoir on your right you have passed the turning. Having taken the right, it is 8 kms to the Periana turning on the left, your landmark is the large petrol station and car wash AnGas, which is not long before the turning. Take the A7204 to Periana and Colmenar. After 7 kms you reach Periana, passing a factory “Perimetal” on the left at the entrance to Periana.

To get to the town hall (Ayuntamiento) where you meet the house manager, continue to the roundabout and fork left towards the centre of the town. After 100 yards you will see a parking area on the left in front of a large white and brick building - the ayuntamiento. Opposite this on the main road is the pharmacy and a bar called La Cazuela.
